Mike told me a story about how Isla reacted to a bully once. They were at the library and Isla and Maryn were walking up to a little stage they have for kids. It has some kid size furniture, windows etc. Well, this kid, was probably 5 or 6 and he stood in their way and said they couldn't go in. Maryn   wasn't all that interested and walked over to something else. Isla kept walking. He then pushed Isla back and very firmly said, "No, you can't come up here!" Mike just watched half expecting Isla to start crying. She took one step back (apparently this kid was really in her personal space) and stood there, giving him a look not unlike the first picture in this post. Almost as if to say, "are you talking to me?!"  

Picture 2 - She is a climber and is at that age where she doesn't get that she can fall. I'm not a fan of that stage, it makes me nervous. 

And the last picture. I wish I could say this is the first (and last) time I've seen her tackling her sister. This shot reminds me of my days playing rugby. She's still smaller than Mae -for now- but has so much more strength! Hopefully she'll learn to use her brute force for good.
